"What a heartwarming story...SPOILER ALERT"
I don't want to reveal too much of the screenplay(but I must). Starting off with beautiful music fitting to the mood found on the main character's face; astounding. The foreshadowing of the event suggested by the title only whetting our appetites with anticipation to the much needed boost to our friends mood of the day. "Shouldn't he notice a giant dollar further away?" others may ponder. Oh no, on those days where life keeps you down, you only want to notice what is necessary to make it through the rest of your day. You find comfort in your tunnel vision for fear anything more may prove to be too much for your will.
The moment you think there is no more to the story and the event had little effect on his day, a mere smirk is all... Oh no!!! A burst of sunshine and a completely new pace to the musical score, truly expressing the utter joy to Mr. White's fragile state of mind that day.
What's this?! A twist brought on by a stranger of blue ancestry. Could this Mr. Blue have been the one who had dropped the dollar that alone Symbolizes Mr. White's new lease on life? Mr. White just may have to give up the very will to continue on back to it's rightful owner. I hope Mr. Blue has the ability to understand the underlying value of that dollar to Mr. White, can't he?
Ah, wonderful!! Blue is not a stranger, but a fellow dollar finder who shares the same joy as White that is brought by recovering a lone and lost little dollar bill.
This has been a summary/review of "I Found A Dollar" created by the great "LostVoices"
I futureguy5 can not fault you LostVoices for what you have not attempted. To those stating the lack of "effort;" I ask you, does wathcing a film in High definition make the story 6 times the story it once was just because the number of pixels increased as such? NO I say! Does the new star wars trilogy reign supreme over the originals because of advances in technology! NO, everyone says! An instant classic due to its simplicity good sir(sirs, ma'am, or ma'ams). I thank you all to the creators of this short film and readers of this review.
